Coach Amanda is the founder and head coach of Accelerate Field Hockey. She also coaches all of the teams! She played four years of collegiate field hockey at Gordon College, then went on to coach at both Houghton University and St. John Fisher University. Amanda has also served as a Site Director multiple times for USA Field Hockey’s NEXUS program. She holds an undergraduate degree in Sports, Recreation, and Wellness with a concentration in Sports Studies, as well as a master’s degree in Sports Coaching and Athletic Administration from Liberty University. Coaching has been her passion for years, and starting this club is a dream come true. She’s here to help athletes grow, compete, and thrive—on and off the field. Let’s get to work!
Coach Yaeger is an Assistant Coach for the U16 and U19 teams at Accelerate Field Hockey. Coach Yaeger holds Level 1 and Level 2 USA Field Hockey Coaching Certifications, a New York State Coaching License, and is a Section V Field Hockey Referee. Coach Yaeger has completed several coaching education courses through the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and USA Field Hockey’s online learning forum, strengthening her knowledge of the game. She is dedicated to developing well-rounded athletes by creating a competitive, but supportive environment that encourages growth, confidence, and preparation for the next level of play.
Coach Fiore is an assistant coach for the U12 and U14 teams at Accelerate Field Hockey. Her passion for field hockey started when she was just 11 years old. Coaching has been a dream of hers since learning how to play. In addition to coaching with Accelerate she has also coaches at NEXUS, a program with USA Field Hockey and at Hilton High School. She understands the importance of a coach who believes in you and is here to help the athletes believe in themselves on and off the field.
